Discover Colombia evening at Royal Geographic Society with travel experts

On Wednesday 17 March the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) will be hosting Discovering Colombia, a unique travel evening offering first-time visitors to the country the opportunity to put their questions to the expert panel.
Acclaimed journalist Matthew Parris and award-winning travel writer Sarah Woods will share their secrets on Colombia.
Matthew Parris is a regular contributor to the Times and the Spectator. He formerly worked for the Foreign Office and has also led numerous expeditions in South America.
Sarah Woods is the author of nine travel guides including the Bradt Travel Guide to Colombia. She has won many awards for her travel writing; published in four continents, 12 languages, and more than 220 titles.
Colombia offers endless inspiration for adventurous of travellers with lush rainforests, romantic haciendas, ancient ruins, pulsing modern cities and tropical beaches.
Matthew Parris says, "As I've been using Sarah Woods' Bradt Guide in many trips, now, to Colombia and found it the best, I'm delighted to team up with her to describe this sleeping tourist giant of a country."
The Royal Geographical Society (with The Institute of British Geographers) is the learned society and professional body for geography that supports geographical research.
The event will take place from 7.00–9.00pm at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR.
