Hero wrestles kangaroo in his underpants
A man who wrestled a kangaroo in his underpants to save his family is being hailed a hero after it smashed in through a bedroom window in Australia.
Forty-two-year-old Beat Ettlin, who's originally from Switzerland, was forced to tackle the creature after it invaded the family home near Canberra.
Mr Ettlin, his wife and daughter initially hid beneath their blankets as it jumped on their bed. But when it bounded into the room of the Ettlins' screaming young son, the father was forced to act.
He managed in the struggle which followed to get the marsupial into a headlock, drag it to the front door and shove it outside.
But not before the intruder gouged holes in the furniture and inflicted scratches on the Mr Ettlin's buttocks.
The kangaroo disappeared into a nearby reserve - they're common around the outskirts of Canberra, but only rarely invade homes. Mr Ettlin said he felt a lucky man.
