Most sunbathing Germans are confident of their bodies
If you want a little more confidence on the beach this summer – take a few tips from German sun worshippers. A new survey suggests the majority of German men won't allow a beer belly to stop them taking off their tops.
A happy and clearly very confident 81% of men questioned for Apotheken-Umschau declared they would not let their big tummies inhibit their sunbathing.
What's more, a further 79% of the 965 men surveyed were "totally indifferent" to what other people thought of them without clothes.
A similar confidence can be found in their wives and girlfriends. Of 1,017 German women interviewed, 61% had no inhibitions about sporting a bikini or swimming costume, while over 66% also did not care what others thought of their body. Good for them!
