If you thought luck could run out, think again... Joan Ginther fromTexas has just collected her fourth jackpot win in 17 years - the $10 million top prize from a lottery scratchcard.
The sum brings Joan's total lottery winnings to $20 million or £13million in British cash - it's a lot in whatever currency you choose!
"This final bit of winning lottery must confirm Mrs Ginther as the world's luckiest lottery player," commented industry publication World Lottery News. "We would be interested to see just how much she spends on lottery tickets and scratch-offs." And so say all of us!
The 63-year-old's first big win was in 1993 when she shared a $11 million lottery jackpot with another player. She then won $2 million in 2006 and $3 million in 2008, both from scratchcards. Her latest piece of good luck came from the 'Texas Lottery Extreme Payout' scratchcard.
