Men spend a year of their lives looking at the opposite sex

Here's an encouraging survey for women - especially those seeking a little more attention. A new poll suggests that men spend nearly a year of their lives ogling members of the opposite sex.

The average male will sneak a peek at ten different women for around 43 minutes in an average day, according to the research by Kodak Lens Vision centres. That adds up to almost 11 days each year.

The ladies aren't so far behind either it seems. The study suggests women generally spend 20 minutes per day eyeing up six men - so good news too guys!

"Men are renowned for looking at women but it's interesting to find out exactly how long they spend eyeing girls up," said Mark Ireland, from Kodak.  "A year of their life is a long time to spend with their eyes fixed on the opposite sex."

It's also believed from the survey responses that men prefer to spot females at supermarkets, while women it seems like to reserve their totty spotting for the pubs and bars.
