Dinner underneath the stars
Carré d’étoiles is a new concept of enjoying French countryside in a cube-shaped cabin surmounted by a large, transparent dome that lets occupants watch the sky from the cabin bed.
From spring 2009 this unusual and nomadic style of accommodation will make an unobtrusive appearance throughout France, in the gardens of selected guesthouses and character hotels.
The portable and recyclable cube offers a highly original way to sleep in the open air while remaining in a cocoon-style interior.
It provides romantic ambient for couples and close to nature atmosphere for families.
This daring idea was realized by Louis & Nathalie Blanco, who travelled all over France to carry out studies and implement their findings for a decade.
