Action For Kids urges businesses to take part in Brighton Beach Volleyball Tournament
It's a chance to bond over a game of volleyball and support the national disability charity, Action For Kids. It's already proved a hit with city workers in London and now the charity is seeking firms in Brighton to do their bit.
Action For Kids supports children and young people with physical and learning disabilities and their families and carers across the UK, and isalready helping to make a difference to the lives of youngsters in the Brighton and Hove areas.
It's hosting its Beach Volleyball Tournament on Brighton seafront on the afternoon of Friday 17 September and is encouraging teams from across Brighton and Hove to swap their suits for sports gear.
Sarah Greene, Events Fundraiser at Action For Kids, said: "Noexperience is necessary and the rules are simple. There will be fourgroups competing against each other and the winner of each group willgo through into the semi final – the winners of which will go on to thegrand final. So if you fancy a team-building event that's fun andrewarding, please get in touch."
Firms need to put-up a team of at least five people with five people on court at atime. Each team must also have one person of each sex on court atall times.
Trophies will be presented to the winning team and the runner-upat the end of the day and following the grand final, participants will enjoya barbeque on the deck.
